EVENT: Individual stroke play event. Members will be flighted according to their handicaps and must hole out on each hole. Taking an ESC score is not an option in this event. Anyone not holing out on any hole will be disqualified. In addition to the place prizes, there will be one prize for each flight awarded to the player with the lowest gross score that does not cash in the net event. New members without an established GHIN handicap will play a low net event based on the Callaway handicapping system.

EVENT: A four-person team event with one player from each designated group (A,B,C,D) in each foursome. All players hit from the tee on each hole. Teams determine which drive to use and all players play their own ball, which is placed within one club length and within the same cut of grass from the selected tee shot. Placements are to be no nearer to the hole. The best 3 net scores on each hole will be used as the team score. Teams are required to use a minimum of 3 drives from each player.

EVENT: A four-person team event. You may sign up as a single, twosome, threesome or foursome. Your team records one, net low ball per hole determined as follows: On your starting hole (and every third hole thereafter) your net low ball can be from any of the four players. On the second hole (and every third hole thereafter) the net low ball must belong to one of the three remaining eligible players. On the third hole, the net low ball must belong to one of the two remaining eligible players. On the fourth hole you play the series starts over. Player “elimination” from the previous hole must be determined before any tee shots are hit on the next hole of play. All teams will use their starting hole as the beginning of their three-hole sequence and proceed accordingly for the complete 18-hole sequence.

A,B,C,D groups are determined by player handicap with one-fourth of the entrants in each designated group with lowest handicaps in the A group and highest in the D group. All players will play their own ball from tee to green. Each team uses its 2 lowest net scores on each hole as the team score. The Tournament Committee will assign teams.

EVENT: Two-player teams play holes 1-6 as best ball, holes 7–12 as a scramble and holes 13-18 as alternate shot with BOTH players hitting from each tee and shots made alternately from the spot of the selected tee shot. Teams will be flighted by full handicap as long as players have handicaps within 8 strokes of each other. However, players with handicaps more than 8 strokes greater than their partner’s will be limited to his partner’s handicap + 8 strokes.

EVENT: Players will be flighted in equal groups determined by handicap and the number of entrants.
All play starts on the first hole with the first player being eliminated after the second hole and all others on holes pre-determined by the number of members in each grouping until one player remains.
There are two ways to be eliminated:

Event: The Senior/Super Senior Club Championship is a one-day event. No purses are offered, but trophies will be presented to the winners of the Senior and Super Senior flights at the Hullabaloo on September 7. Players who are 50-59 years old are included in the Senior flight. The Super Senior flight is for all players 60 and over. The Senior champion will be the player with the lowest gross score posted by all players (including Super Seniors) who play from the white tees. The Super Senior Champion will be the player with the lowest net score produced in the Super Senior flight. Super Senior players not competing for the Senior Championship will play from the same tees they play in all other 2019 club events. Players who tie for first place in either or both flights will be declared co-champions.

EVENT: An individual flighted stroke play event. Flights will be based strictly on handicap and determined by the total number of entrants in the field. The club champion and all flight champions (with the exception of the last flight) will be determined by the lowest gross score in each flight.
The Club Championship is a 2-day, 36-hole tournament. Championship flight players will play from the black markers (back tees) on both days. All other flights will play from their customary white or silver tee markers.
NOTE – Only those players playing in the championship flight are eligible for the title of Club Champion. Players in other flights retain the option of moving up a flight, but must notify the Tournament Committee in advance. Senior players who qualify by handicap for the championship flight may request to move to the first flight. Non-senior players may petition the Tournament Committee to move to the first flight if there are mitigating factors that present an insurmountable barrier to their competitive play in the championship flight.
SPECIAL NOTE –– IF YOU WISH TO COMPETE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT (and do not otherwise qualify by handicap index), YOU MUST INDICATE THIS TO THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE.

EVENT: This is the Baker Golf Club’s only member/guest event. There will be separate member/member and member/guest flights. Member/guests all play in one flight, unless modifications need to be made due to the number of guest players. Guests will pay $30 in addition to the greens fees for food,refreshments, and prizes. Member/member players will be divided into flights again based on the total number of players.
This is a two-person, best ball event. Each player plays his own ball from tee to green. Team score will be the lower of the two net scores. Flights are determined by team handicap.
This is a 2:00 shotgun start, and, as always, is played rain or shine. Following play, we invite all members and their guests to remain for our annual dinner, awards and recognition for 2019 play, and raffling of prizes including a free membership for 2020.
